I can't believe it is Saturday already! We leave tomorrow! Where has the time gone?
Today is the kids last day in ski school.
Yesterday Vittoria had her end of course race. They have a lil slalom every year for the kids. No matter what position you arrive you usually get a trophy anyway!
Vittoria came in 2nd. Her time was 41 seconds. The girl who came in first place did the race in 38 seconds. She just flew down that mountain! However, Vittoria was very happy!
Then they put the kids on the podium and they all got a tee-shirt, gloves, medals and a trophy! What more could one ask for?
After the race Vittoria and her friend (the girl who came in first) went for lunch together and then skiied in the afternoon. They were so cute heading up the the snack bar at the top of the ski lift chatting about their girls lunch out!
Tommy has finally recieved his Advanced Gold Star and is now eligible to sign up for the Diamond level courses. Of course those are hard courses and skiing one week a year will probably not be good enough. In order to qualify for Diamond level you really have to ski a lot!
We took the kids to Ra Stua last night.. the same restaurant where Romano and I went for our anniversary dinner. I enjoyed myself and so did Romano but Tommy was tired and Vitti pretty well fell asleep on her plate... Poor thing... I guess the race and everything was just too much.
We got back to the hotel VERY early! I put Vittoria to bed.. had to undress her... he he he..
Tommy decided to watch a bit of tv.. I guess there is just something special about having a tv in your hotel room!
I then joined Romano down in the lounge and we talked to some nice people here and had our after dinner drink.
By 11 pm we were already in our room... I slept like a log til 7:30 this morning!
Well, off to go and have lunch with the kids up in them there mountains. Kinda cold today but I have my long undies on!
