Cortina

Well, here we are in Cortina! We got here on Sunday, March 2nd.
We are staying at the same hotel that we have been staying in for the last 4 years: Hotel Cornelio
It's a lovely hotel located in the centre of Cortina.

Both Tommy and Vittoria are taking ski lessons again.
Tommy is with the Cortina ski school working on his advanced gold level. After this year he will have no more classes to take as advanced gold is the highest one can go without getting into specialized ski schools and start participating in races etc...
Vittoria is with the Azzurra ski school and is working on her level 3 silver. She still has a few more years left...

Me? Well, I am taking long walks with Romano and eating eveything in sight! I seem to work up quite an appetite up here!

Last night was our 14th wedding anniversary. The kids ate in the hotel restaurant and Romano and I went to Ra Stua, a cute lil restaurant just down the block from the hotel.
The food was excellent! I had duck in a honey and balsamic vinigar sauce and Romano had a squash and cheese souffle.
After dinner we came back to the hotel and had a drink in the bar (the kids were in their room watching tv)...
When we got to our room, after having said goodnight to the kids, we found a wonderful card for us handmade by Tommy and Vittoria wishing us a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! We are truly lucky to have two wonderful kid like them!

Well, off for another 10 km walk with my darling hubby.. Hope I don't freeze my ears off again.
