Well, yesterday I turned 40!!It wasn't too bad either. Hubby got me flowers and a multi media keyboard... He knows not to buy me jewels but only techy toys!
I got flowers from a bunch of my friends too and some internet friends sent me cards and gift!
My best friend Berni also called me and we talked for about and hour. As always she forgot to send me a card but I've known here for 35 years now and I don't see her changing anytime soon. LOL
We went to Forapaglia for dinner. It was just me, hubby and Vittoria as Tommaso is still in Puglia. We had a lovely meal though and at the end I was surprised with a cake that hubby had hidden in the car! It only had a candle with a big 4 on it, bless his soul.
After dinner my mom called and wished me a happy birthday. She is very strange though as her first words were "I am so proud of you for turning 40!" I was like "What? Did you think I would not make it?"
All in all it was a GREAT day! And the really great part is we get to do it all over again on Saturday once my son is home. Wonder if I'll get more flowers and gifts.. hmmm.....

Happy Birthday Niki, I am late saying it but it's the thought that counts, right? I wish you many more happy years. Keep taking those trips and it will keep you young!!!
